Wendy Lou Sebert, age 54, of South Branch Township, died June 26, 2017, at her home.
Wendy was born in Flint Oct. 8, 1962, the daughter of David Lee and Irene Fay (Johnson) Powers.
She and Douglas C. Sebert were united in marriage July 17, 1982, in Genese and lived in Millington. She had worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital, now Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital, since moving to Roscommon in 1996.
She attended Roscommon Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her father, David Powers; in-laws, Robert and Crystal Sebert; and brother-in-law, David Cobb.
Surviving Mrs. Sebert are her husband, Doug; three children, Doug (Ashley) Sebert of Cannonsburg, PA, Alicia (Guy) Thurston Jr. of Roscommon and Seth Sebert of Roscommon; nine grandchildren, Zach, Kaleb, Kaiden, Aubrey, Braden, Elijah, Alli May, Addison and Ian; mother, Irene Powers of Roscommon; two brothers, Davy and Dan Powers, both of Roscommon; four brothers- in-law, Robert (Diane) Sebert of Millington, Keith Sebert of California, Bill Sebert of Millington and Ken (Sherry) Sebert of Millington; three sisters-in- law, Carol (Lee) Deneen of Elkton, Deb Cobb of Millington and Brenda (Vince) Lacavoli of Arizona; and many nephews and nieces, including Dana Powers of Davison.
Funeral services officiated by Dr. Michael Ritchie were held at Roscommon Baptist Church where she was member. Burial was in Rock Cemetery, South Branch Township.
Memorial donations may be made to the family for an educational fund for her son, Seth.
Arrangements were handled by Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon.
