Therese Kaiser

Therese Marie Kaiser, 64, of Grayling passed away after a brief battle with cancer on September 10, 2022 in Elk Rapids, MI.

Therese was born to Harold and Sarah (Bishaw) Golnick in Grayling, MI on January 26, 1958. She loved her work for the City of Grayling as the Farmer's Market manager. She was a lay minister for many years. She co-founded the annual community Thanksgiving dinner in Crawford County and liked to participate in escape rooms with family. She loved her daughter, sisters, brother, her partner, parents and grandchildren so much. She was an important woman to the Grayling community and will be dearly missed by so many.

Therese is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Paul) Snyder; step-son, Scott (Jennifer) Kaiser; significant other, Thomas Kley and his son, Brandon Johns; grandchildren, Brittanie, Paul Jr., Avani, Soraya, Claire and Gabby; parents, Tyke and Sally Golnick; siblings, Julie Golnick, Sharon (Rodney) Adkison, Kathee (Mark) Lamberies and Chris (Linda) Golnick; nieces and nephews, Sydnee Weber, David Golnick, Sarah Golnick and Will Golnick; aunt, Dolores "Butch" Feldhauser; and her pup, Maxi. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis "Skip" Kaiser.  Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11-12 PM with a Memorial Service starting at noon. A luncheon will follow at the American Legion in Grayling, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Therese to the American Cancer Society.
