Marlin Weaver Sr.

Marlin Jasper Weaver Sr., 96, of Grayling, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, Mich. 
Born June 24, 1920, in Buchanan, Michigan, to Noah and Grace (Hamilton) Weaver. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, member of VFW/American Legion /Masonic Lodge. 
Marlin is survived by his sons, James M. Weaver of Palm Bay, Fla., Marlin J. “Red”  Weaver Jr of Frederic, Mich., Michael “Rusty” Weaver of Grayling, Mich.; daughters, Marla Bandurski of Bridgman, Mich., Marlie Westervelt of Fla., Myra Tortorelli of Irving, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Grace; first wife, Helen Wallace; second wife, Beaulah “Ernie” Armstrong. 
A funeral service for Marlin will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Hoven Funeral Home; Buchanan. Visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Frederic, Mich.
