Charles Richard "Dick" Keelean, 83, of Grayling, passed away on January 30, 2017.
He was born on July 8, 1933, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late Charles E. and Margaret (Swanson) Keelean.
He married Sylvia Phillips in Detroit, Michigan, on August 8, 1954. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing. Dick was a loving father and husband. He was a truck driver, retired from the Teamsters Union. Dick was a member of the Grayling Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, of 62 years; daughters, Beverly Harris of Tennessee and Deborah (James) Esco of Alabama. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Richardson of Marion and Sandra Cooper of Cadillac.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Charles and Kenneth Keelean.
