Bethany Hubbard

Bethany "Beth" Ann Hubbard was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world surrounded by family on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 at age 69.  Beth was born to Thomas and Joanne Seavey on July 24th, 1953. After graduating high school, she married her husband of 50 years: David Hubbard. Together, they had three children: David Jr. (Wife Jodi), Cristina Eames (Husband Steven), and Jennie. Beth was also blessed with loving grandchildren: Hailey, Connor, Brooke, Molly, Dominic, and Max.  At 38 years old, Beth began a nursing career that remained at the center of her life until her passing.  Beth established deep community roots at Grayling Mercy Hospital and Kirtland Community College as the Director of Nursing. Beth was a fierce advocate for patient care and patient rights, and a gifted caregiver. To her great joy; daughter Cristina and granddaughter Hailey followed in her footsteps to become Registered Nurses.  Beth loved spending time in the kitchen and quite simply was an amazing cook. Beth also had deep community ties to the local farm market (where some of her favorite people gathered weekly).  A "Celebration of Life" is being planned in Beth's honor and the date of the event will be announced when the planning is completed. Also, in lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the "Bethany Ann Hubbard Memorial Scholarship". This scholarship will be established in memory of Beth to be awarded to Kirtland nursing students.
