She was born to the late Joseph and Mary Pfefferkorn on January 26, 1925, in Oran, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her four siblings; her husband, Ralph F. Ridenour; and her great-grandsons, John Curtis Schneider IV and Kasen Gregory Schneider.
Alma worked and raised her children in Angola, Indiana, where she retired from Moore Business Forms. She spent the latter part of her life in South Florida where she helped raise her grandchildren. During her retirement years, Alma volunteered her time in libraries, nursing homes, and elementary school classrooms and lunchrooms.
A woman of devout Christian faith, Alma’s life motto was “A.S.A.P – always say a prayer”. She enjoyed the simple things in life – reading a good book, laughing along with her favorite television characters, like Andy Griffith and Archie Bunker, and spending time with her loved ones.
Alma requested a private memorial with her immediate family as her celebration of life.
