Shrine Club’s annual onion sale to start in May - The Grayling AuSable Shrine Club will conduct its annual Shriner’s Vidalia Onion Sale from Friday, May 5, through Monday, May 29 – or until supplies are gone – at Diane’s Car Wash, located at 5605 M-72 West, and Charlie’s Country Corner, located off of Four Mile Road.
Church’s free movie event to be held at Rialto - The Mt. Hope Lutheran Church of Grayling is bringing a Free Movie Night to the Rialto Theater on Monday, May 1, at 7 p.m. The movie will be “Martin Luther: The Idea That Changed the World.”
TEFAP food distribution slated for May 1 - The quarterly TEFAP food distribution will be held on Monday, May 1, at the American Legion, 106 James Street, from 1-2:30 p.m. Please bring identification showing current address. Please bring someone to carry your bags if necessary.
Garden Club to meet on Thursday - The Beyond the Garden Wall Garden Club will meet on Thursday, April 27, from 7-9 p.m. at the Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall, 400 E. Michigan Avenue, Grayling. Master Gardener Barb Bishoff will present “Spring Pruning: Waking Up The Garden,” a presentation on how to prune perennials, trees, and shrubs. The event will also include a surprise plant giveaway.
Donkey Basketball game to be held at GMS - Project Graduation 2017 is sponsoring a Donkey Basketball game on Saturday, May 6, at 6 p.m. at the Grayling Middle School. Pre-sale tickets are available for $6 at Xpress Copy or Sylvester’s. Tickets are $8 at the door. Kids under four free. There will be free donkey rides for kids 12 and under during intermission.
Indoor yard sale to benefit Baby to Toddler Closet - The Grayling Baby to Toddler Closet is having a fundraiser – a “donation only” indoor yard sale (no baby or children items) – on April 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and May 1 from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. The sale will be in the basement of the Michelson United Methodist Church, 400 Michigan Avenue.
