E-Z 5K Fun Run to raise money for food pantry - The E-Z 5K Fun Run/Walk To Feed The Hungry will be held on Saturday, May 6, at Hanson Hills. Cost to participate is $20. Registration starts at 9 a.m. on the day of the event, and the walk starts at 10 a.m. The first 75 people to register will receive an event T-shirt. All proceeds from the E-Z 5K will go to the Christian Help Center Food Pantry.
Free divorce clinic offered - The 46th Judicial Circuit Bar Association, Legal Services of Northern Michigan, and Community Mediation Services will conduct a free divorce clinic at the Crawford County Courthouse at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. Legal Services staff attorneys will provide classroom instruction and volunteer attorneys will be available for private consultations. All forms will be supplied free to participants. Golf outing to raise money for football program - The Grayling High School football program’s annual golf outing fundraiser – a four-person scramble – is slated for Saturday, May 6, at the Grayling Country Club. Long-term care presentation to be held - The Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center will host a free breakfast presentation on Tuesday, April 25, featuring Dr. Thad Jackson from Munson Healthcare Grayling Physician Network Elder Care Services. Join Dr. Jackson as he discusses long-term care options and the importance of having an advance care planning document prepared. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, muffins, fruit mix, juice, and coffee. The breakfast and presentation will be held at the Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center, 308 Lawndale Street in Grayling. For more information call (989) 348-7123. 
Senior Center to host Spring Fling Dinner - The community is invited to the Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center’s Spring Fling Dinner on Thursday, April 27, from 4-6 p.m. Meal will include pork loin, au gratin potatoes, vegetables, cinnamon applesauce, and cherry crunch pie. The suggested donation for seniors 60 and over is $3. The price for those under 60 is $5. Dinner is open to the public. The Senior Center is located at 308 Lawndale Street in Grayling. Committee seeks donations for yard sale event - The Neighborhood Connections Planning Committee is looking for donations for its community yard sale to be held on Saturday, April 29, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donations can be dropped off at the Crawford County Dial-A-Ride building at 4276 N. Down River Road. Money raised at the yard sale will be used for the Neighborhood Connections event scheduled for Aug. 24 at Grayling High School.
