Lovells Satellite Meal to be held - The community is invited to the Crawford County Commission on Aging’s Lovells Satellite Meal on Friday, November 16, at 12 p.m. at the Lovells Township Hall.  The lunch includes cranberry chicken breast, peas, carrots, and an apple. Lunch is open to the public. The cost of the lunch is a suggested donation of $3.50 for those 60 and over and a $5.50 cost for those under 60. Munson Home Health will provide blood pressure and sugar checks and Bingo will be played following the meal. Call (989) 348-7123 for a reservation. The Lovells Township Hall is located at 8405 Twin Bridge Road. 
American Legion Auxiliary to meet - The American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the American Legion on Tuesday, November 13. The group meets once a month on the second Tuesday of each month.
Church to host Holiday Bazaar - Mt. Hope Lutheran Church will host a Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
League of Women Voters to meet - The League of Women Voters Crawford County Unit will meet on Tuesday, November 13, at 7 p.m. in the Nature Center (next to the American Legion). The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Program aims to help reduce stress - MSU Extension will present a program which introduces participants to the experience and practice of mindfulness to reduce stress. By offering alternative ways of relating to everyday life experiences, including thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and events, this program teaches and encourages the use of mindfulness self-care skills to help you feel better and enjoy your life more. The class will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 20, 27, December 4, and 11, at the MSU Extension Office, 501 Norway Street, Suite 2. There is no cost for this program, which is sponsored by the Crawford County Commission on Aging. Registration is required by November 9 by calling (989) 348-7123.   
RoboVikes fundraiser to be held at Family Fare - GHS RoboVikes will conduct a bake sale and can/bottle return fundraiser at the Grayling Family Fare on Saturday, November 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
V.F.W. Post to honor veterans - V.F.W. Post 3736 will host an event to honor all veterans on Monday, November 12, at 11 a.m. at the American Legion. The event is open to the public. Soup and sandwiches provided.
Senior Center to host Native American Party - To celebrate a time of thanksgiving, the Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center invites everyone to a Native American Party on Thursday, November 15, at 5:45 p.m. The celebration includes pumpkin and gourd decorating, a native story using native symbols, a thank you to our veterans, and a festive dessert. Before the party enjoy a shepherd’s pie dinner served from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The cost of dinner is $5.50 for those under 60 and a suggested $3.50 donation for those 60 and over. Sight-in Days set for November 12-14 - The Grayling Sportsman’s Club will conduct its Annual Sight-in Days on November 12-14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $5 per gun. The club is located on Old Lake Road.
Food drive to benefit Help Center - Denholm Family Chiropractic is currently conducting a food drive to benefit the Crawford County Community Christian Help Center. For every bag of non-perishable food or $5 cash donation donors will be entered into a drawing to win a massage. Drawing will be conducted on November 21. Donations can be brought to the Denholm Family Chiropractic office (located at 6838 M-93 Highway South) during regular business hours (Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
