Program to feature AuSable River history - Stuart Fowler, fifth generation of the Stephan Family, will present The Early Days: History of the AuSable River Valley on Thursday, March 23, at 5:45 p.m. at the Commission on Aging and Senior Center. Fowler will share historical facts about the early AuSable River valley days. The event will include a beef stew dinner at 5 p.m. The suggested donation for seniors 60+ is $3, and the cost for those under 60 is $5. This presentation is free of charge and everyone is welcome. Crawford County Republicans to meet - The Crawford County Republicans will hold a GOP meeting on Thursday, March 16, at 7 p.m. at the Crawford County Building, located at 200 W. Michigan Avenue. Members and guests are welcome to attend.
GHS to present ‘Beauty and the Beast’ play - The Grayling High School Players will present their production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18, at 6 p.m. and on Sunday, March 19, at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at Tip’n The Mitten for $10/adults and $5/students and senior citizens.
